Sun City Vistoso Havurah

Havurah has been a chartered club of Sun City Vistoso since 1994.  It is open to all residents of Sun City Vistoso who wish to share in Jewish culture, traditional celebrations, and discussions of relevant current affairs. In addition to monthly meetings, which generally feature guest speakers, there are regular bagel brunches, cultural discussion groups, social gatherings, and holiday festivities, such as Seders, Chanukah parties and Purim plays.

GET THEM WHILE THEY LAST Havurah Cooks is a hardcover heirloom cookbook which contains over 300 recipes from our Havurah members including their generations of families from various countries. It includes traditional recipes, as well as those reflecting current eating preferences. More than just recipes, there are vegetarian options and suggestions for healthy substitutions. Also there are amusing bloopers members have experienced, excerpts about family who originated the recipes and witty quotes to make this cook book one that will be a valuable addition to increase your cooking pleasure. The  book includes a sturdy stand plus clear acetate to cover pages when cooking.  The loose-leaf format provides plenty of space to add recipes. The price is $18.
